This product is the reconstitution diluent itself, so it is not reconstituted or further diluted before routine laboratory use. Once a vial is opened, use it within the labeled in-use period and discard it if the liquid turns turbid. Store sealed vials at controlled room temperature, or refrigerate where the label states, and keep them away from direct light. The approximately 0.9% benzyl alcohol content suppresses microbial growth in multi-use vials; for assays sensitive to benzyl alcohol, use preservative-free sterile water instead.
